I never assumed it would be. i was just talking about linear 2d and 3d platformers that are easy are not great games imo because they really don't offer skill based gameplay in games that are mostly skill based. I enjoyed NSMWU BTW, especially the more challenging levels but tropic freeze is the best platformer by far not just cause of the challenge it has it all, graphics, music, and skill based gameplay with some relaxing levels mixed in.
