Finally saw Spider-Verse. I say finally because even though it's been only a week, it's been hell trying to dodge spoilers over this week. And yeah a lot of it was spoiled, but it wasn't too bad overall.
Yeah it was pretty amazing. Visually it's a serious step up from the first one, like setting a new bar for animation, obviously it won't have the same impact as the first one but it really shows how insanely far a computer animation can go. Story was... Well the first half of the movie I thought was a bit confused, too overwhelming and full of crazy shit with not enough time to breathe. But it's one of those where there's the one scene where it all clicks and from that point on you're absolutely hooked. Hopefully the next movie keeps that pacing throughout.
Honestly I gotta say, out of all the Marvel movies to come out in 2023, this one might seriously be the second best. (I jest, obviously it will be second best cause ain't nothing else topping this)
