Honestly, this must be a unpopular opinion, but... I like both action RPGs and traditional RPGs. However, I don't play Final Fantasy for the gameplay. That's not an unpopular opinion. Majority of FF players think like you in my opinion.

Well, maybe, but I see quite a bunch of people criticizing it because it's more action-oriented.
