The other thing about this that makes me go "hmmmm" is Sharp apparently erased all references to "new game console" after the presentation ... sounds like Nintendo maybe told them they said too much, which sounds exactly like something Nintendo would do.
If this was just like some random PC maker wanting to make a new game machine, don't think they'd care about Sharp talking about something new vaguely, but you know what company totally would? Nintendo.
