It's so fascinating to me how often right wingers will espouse left wing views, while doing the opposite.

Republicans who deregulate big business and the media, while lowering their taxes; sure are opposed to big business

Republicans who are all for funding the heck out of the military, police and prisons; checking people's pants for the right genitals; sure are opposed to big government.

That is because memes are mostly used for misinformation than anything else.  I use to have these conversations with a friend of mine who use to post memes concerning political subjects all the time and I asked her if she ever check if the meme was actually true.  Of course she did not which I then had to send her to the topic at hand to actually understand the subject she was reposting.  Memes are a nice tool that can be for fun but mostly it can be a tool for misinformation as people just repost them because they align with how they think.
