So from this point on DS sells just over 500k, Switch should sell at least 2m more this year (probably closer to 2.5m) bringing its total to 31-31.5m
Switch successor is pretty much guaranteed in FY2024, as Nintendo's fiscal report indicates no plans to release new hardware this year nor in Jan-Mar.
If Switch successor is released in Apr-Jun quarter 2024, and the launch of successor tanks Switch sales like DS when 3DS released then MAYBE Switch LTD will still fall short of DS. But IMO chances are high the Switch will be the first system to top 33m.
