I finally got a chance to try PSVR2 at a friend's house yesterday. Here are my quick thoughts.

Putting on the headset was trickier than I expected. And also getting it sit comfortably on my face and be in focus was also a hassle. I guess it takes practice.

First game I tried was GT7. I have the game myself but play it in Non VR mode obviously. My first race was kinda excited but I was stuck in driver's seat view. My friend had his controller input setup differently than I usually do so I don't know where the change camera button was mapped to. I usually play in full first person windshield view. I hope that is still and option in VR but I wasn't able to find it. It's amazing how the interior of the cars are rendered. The VR Showroom mode also gave you a great up close look at the cars. I wish you could walk faster though.

Tetris Effect Connected. This was the best VR experience. I played it on the original PSVR as well but somehow this was better. I felt like I was high even though I was sober. I need a Lumines VR game next. The music and visuals are totally absorbing. I forgot where I was. I also love Tetris. So if I ever got PSVR2 I would spend a lot of time with this game.

Horizon Call of the Mountain. It's pretty to look at and quite immersive. I wish the character could run or at least walk faster. There is a lot of climbing which is engaging but a tad repetitive. I liked using the bow and arrow but my arms started to hurt after a few minutes, so its kind of a workout. I only messed around briefly but I think I would enjoy the game if I completed it in small bursts.

Pistol Whip. Hell yeah!. I had just come from seeing John Wick 4 at the theaters and this game totally made me feel like a badass. We really need a Time Crisis VR game. The music rhythm shooting action felt breezy and fun. The PSVR2 Sense Controllers worked perfectly for this. I would love to play through this whole game. Dual wielding was a blast. Recommend.

That's it for now. If I ever get my own place with enough space to accommodate it I would definitely buy a PSVR2. I hope the games and innovation keep coming.
