Even longer in Japan, where some additional RPGs came out after the N64. In 1999 they had Wizardry and Fire Emblem.

Far out, just checked and the last official SNES game, Metal Slader Glory Director's Cut, came out in November 2000, a decade after the system's launch and four years after its replacement.

That's like an N64 game coming out in 2005/2006.
