Honestly as someone living in Japan right now, it is really hard for scalpers to buy the PS5, because most of the retailers required more hoops to jump through in order to buy one.

One requirement is that you can only buy 1 PS5 from one retailer for lifetime. So if you wanted a PS5 for yourself after selling it overseas, you would have to find another place. Do this 5 or 6 times and you are out of major retailers.

Do you have any idea why the physical PS5 sales are "low" in Japan, digital ratios are higher? Free to play games are the main thing? Japanese gamers only buy the console without games?
