PS5 in its second full year only selling 13m...ouch! I figured it would at least do over 15m. What happened to the millions of systems they had stocked heading into the Fall?? Just demand wasn't there? Not a great sign for PS5 going forward. Or did they actually sell them but the rest of their year was so low the year figures are still bad?
It's mostly due to Europe getting a terrible amount of stock this year, not demand. It was down compared to 2021 for most of the year so things are looking up for it with it ending 2022 strong. In Spain it's down 50% compared to PS4 two years in which is about 500k less in just one country so with the stock issues mostly over now there's a lot of potential due to pent up demand.
