Angelus said: Makes sense that Phil played so much Vampire Survivors. Very easy game to pick up and play when you just got a little bit of time here and there. Hell, if you go about it efficiently, once you cross like 15 minutes or so in a round, you can put it down and the game will play itself lol. |
well yeah depends on the kind of stuff you've unlocked and the level you're playing. In some levels unkillable enemies will haunt you for a few minutes, so you cannot stand still without dying.
Lately, I was playing Endless while trying to get one of the new get 100k kills in one round with a certain character achievements. I felt massively overpowered and maxed out all of my weapons and secondary items at about minute 25-ish (with haste mode active, so around minute 12 or 13 when playing normally). Also got Limit Break activated and set it to upgrade my weapons at random on level up. Didn't pay attention to the game for about 20 real time minutes and then noticed that I died on minute 50 simply due to the boss that spawned on that level who had enough health to get close enough to kill me. Luckily, when I died my kill counter showed 105k so I still got the achievement. So yeah it does play by itself but you should still keep an eye out for dangers.
Talking about Vampire Survivors, there are still some bugs in the game. For example I can't navigate to page 2 of the grimoire on consoles. I guess someone forgot that I can't click on the arrow to go to the next page with my controller.
I love playing with the Phieraggi weapon but during one of my last runs when I evolved my two guns to Phieraggi, the damage output was zero. While I saw the weapon animation, no enemy was taking a hit. Very strange but thankfully didn't kill my run.
Then in some runs Atlanteans randomly spawn (the ones that guard the rings and the metaglio items) without me picking up these items. I often use the Mad Groove Randomazzo and I guess the game gets confused because of that? Idk. When I then pick up the items, the Atlanteans will still spawn so something is off here. It's extremely annoying when this happens early on during a round which forces you to move constantly since they have such an absurd amount of health.
Still an awesome game.
