It’s still a great result. In previous years stock was scarce leading up to the big holiday. That wasn’t the case this year. There is also the idea of “how many Switches can we actually sell to the same consumers.” There hasn’t been a revision since the OLED, which could impact sales as well.
Finally, there were plenty of options with Sony and Microsoft having plenty of units on offer, sales that in previous years may have defaulted to the Switch.
But still, great sales and the holidays are definitely not over
