Well, one year later, the addition of games like Xenoblade 3, Splatoon 3, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Bayonetta 3, It Takes Two, Nier Automata, 13 Sentinels, and Prodeus have sent the Switch rocketing passed the Wii for me and it's now behind only the SNES as the greatest Nintendo system ever.
Whether it attains that #1 spot will come down to how many more gems it gets before the end of its cycle.
