- I bought Vagrant Story a while back, but only got around to playing it recently. Overall, a very good game that can just be a bit too obtuse for its own good. Figuring out all the nuances and details of the battle system took ages because the game doesn't explain much of it very well. I did eventually get a grasp on it, but it took me a while. The writing, on the other hand, is stellar, the translation from Japanese likely one of the best of its era.
