It essentially would either need a new datapoint or just adding up the 12 already exisiting datapoints. The latter should be easier to implement as it wouldn't need to do any changes in the database, just fetch several data at once and add them up to get the result.

And yes, I tried, but that also doesn't give you the total number of sales in a year, just the sales of every single week in a year (while the other one shows every single month in a year).

This page gives me the total per year. You just need to hover over each year.
