That was so long ago. They wouldn't make an entire new more powerful model just for one 2-3mil seller because Miyamoto almost 10 years ago thought a Pikmin game would look nicer in 4K.

Miyamoto also said Pikmin 4 was also developed like 7 years ago.  I personally wouldn't mind a more powerful Switch, but it is not happening anytime soon.  The current Switch is still selling well without a price cut.  There is simply zero reason for Nintendo to have an upgrade.  It isn't happening.  At this point Nintendo might as well wait another 2-3 years for a Switch 2, which hopefully is full BC and digital games carry over.
