Miyamoto also said Pikmin 4 was also developed like 7 years ago. I personally wouldn't mind a more powerful Switch, but it is not happening anytime soon. The current Switch is still selling well without a price cut. There is simply zero reason for Nintendo to have an upgrade. It isn't happening. At this point Nintendo might as well wait another 2-3 years for a Switch 2, which hopefully is full BC and digital games carry over.
