I do think we will see Switch selling around 3m next year - maybe as down as 2.5m. Would take something extraordinary for the switch to sell another 4m... I think the DS managed to do that 4 years in a row with the 5th year just falling short:

The Switch will be only the second console to do that but not as dominant as the DS. I think we are seeing signs of slowing in Japan, and that is why I think we will see it sink towards the 2.5m-3m range with market saturation approaching. Only chance of slowing the deceleration is a Switch pro version but with every passing year I think it becomes less likely to happen
