One thing that has been annoys me nowadays is overplaying character quirks where it becomes their entire personality. This is probably one of the bigger flaws with One Piece despite how good it is. It started getting out of hand when a certain character who always gets nose bleeds from girls ended up having a massive nose bleed and it went from a joke to a literal plot point.
