Not surprised in the least tbh. I watched the entire trial in full and it was clear who was intentionally being dishonest and who was defaming who.

Johnny Depp was abused by Heard. Neither were perfect, and their marriage certainly wasn't, but it's disgustingly immoral for Depp's claims of abuse to be discredited because he consumed alcohol and drugs (both of which Heard did as well) and was a man. You'll never find a "perfect victim" and I'm glad the jury didn't fall for the picture Heard's lawyers painted to discredit Depp.

The far right will politicize it and discredit ALL claims of abuse. So literally nothing's changed for survivors of abuse.

Survivors of abuse that aren't wealthy and famous still lose. Regular people can never win... Though I admit I'm being pessimistic based on my own personal experience.
