It just better be a new style of game, and not the "New" style. A new art style, tighter controls, new ideas. NSMBUD is fun multiplayer but quite mediocre as a one player game. I mean based on its sales though even if they just did another "New" game it'd be a big seller, but a brand new 2D Mario series that is very high quality would be an absolute mega seller. If Nintendo is gonna keep the Switch going for several more years then launching a brand new 2D Mario series on it is the most obvious thing in the world. |
I want to believe this so bad. But Nintendo's track record tells me otherwise. Very sad.
