New DS model at e3? (and other e3 info)

Why would we even want a new DS model? The one we have right now is about as small as you could possibly get while still maintaining the screen size, GBA slot, and comfort in your hands.

I'd rather see a new DS 2 system. But not until next year's E3 at the earliest..
