I was thinking about something. Sony is reportedly working on a Gamepass competitor codenamed Spartacus, right? Well it will take many hundreds of thousands of PS5 chips to go into server blades for a large scale rollout across all of the main gaming countries, even more if they aim to have the service available in all of the I believe 50+ markets PS5 is sold in. That is alot of PS5 chips that won't have been going into consumer PS5 consoles over the months leading up to the launch of Spartacus (rumored for February launch). Xbox by comparison finished converting their Gamepass servers from XB1 S to Xbox Series X back in June 2021.

In addition to that, it seems like Sony may be experiencing some kind of more significant supply chain issues that they were before. Starting to think those 15m for financial year 2021 and 22m for financial year 2022 predictions that Sony made aren't happening

Do we have an estimate for how many Series S/X's have been made for cloud power? I'd be curious to see how many both companies made including their cloud dedicated consoles.
