Japanese companies has a weird, conservative backwards mindset with everything and japanese people are slow to adapt and get into new technology. Physical albums and movies are still a thing there
In Japan not every record company release their songs on streaming. I have absolutely no hope for Nintendo to do anything unless it become a must i.e. japanese consumers demanding Nintendo music to be on streaming services
