I want a stand alone box as well but my reason is simple. Once the battery can no longer hold charge in Switch. It won't boot. Even docked. Modern USB design I don't understand. Why I bought a PSVita TV. I just want to be able to play my games well after that battery is useful. I don't want to hear someone tell me to replace it. I rather just have something where it's not a worry at all.
