How is the stick drift with the pro controller? Would that be a good choice for BotW2? Can you do all the motion stuff with the pro controller in BotW?

Not too bad in my experience, though I've seen at least one pro controller with really bad drift, for the most part it's much less prominent than with the joycons. I've been using my pro controller for pretty much every game I play on console or PC for 4 years now, including thousands of hours of competitive Smash and Ori speedrunning, and while it's had drift for some time, it's rare that it happens and it gets fixed by pushing the analog around and blowing into it.

And yes you can do all the motion control stuff in BotW, it even works like a charm for games as gyro-heavy as Splatoon. The only games I've played so far that I thought played awkwardly on it compared to the joycons are Mario Odyssey and Okami.

Thanks, I'll pick one up when BotW2 comes out. A fresh controller should last through a couple hundred hours of Zelda :)

I do like the split design of the joy cons, but they need to be a bit bigger to be comfortable for long play sessions.
