TGA is way too long for a show that spends so little time on actually presenting the awards the night are supposedly about.

They should have had a pre show focused slowing on game trailers that is say an hour long, while the main show is 2 hours long.

Then everyone would watch the first hour and many would stop watching. They want three hours of ratings and they are being smart. People are much more interested in new content than hearing thank you speeches.
