A lot of them are waaaaaay tougher than they look in the demo vids. I tried the wall jump shortcut in Luigi Raceway that was posted there back in 2007 I lost count of how many times because it LOOKED doable. It's not. That's a superhuman feat. I still can't pull it off. The people who set new records after the year 2000 aren't human, they're machines. Like just look at this insane method in Sherbet Land! I mean why didn't I think of that? ...Yeah no, I don't think that'd exactly be what happened for me.
With but two exceptions, all the shortcuts I use are in the 1997 Nintendo Power player's guide. (The exceptions are in Frappe Snowland and Choco Mountain.)
