possibly a combination of comparativly low demand of PS5 domestically and much lower prices compared to ROTW (japanese prices of consoles are around 10-15% cheaper then US, the second cheapest, while it includes tax when us doesn't) and massive scalping overseas.
there is also the secondary factor of famitsu not tracking digital, and the fact that many PS4 games right now offer free upgrades to PS5 versions when the PS4 version is same price or even cheaper then the PS5 version. why would you get the PS5 version?
