IGN giving out 8's is becoming a meme. Seems like everytime I've seen a review of theirs lately, it's an 8. Judging by the comments on their reviews others agree lol.
This is the problem with not having a 100 point system. What differentiates today's 8 from yesterday's, from the one last week, or the one two days before that?
Am 8.1, 8.4, 8.7, and 8.9 are clearly different. I wish all review sites would move to a 100 point system and be done with it. If the meta score is out of a 100 on both metacritic and opencritic, then the source reviews should be as well!
