I'm actually disappointed that Nintendo hasn't maximized it's use of AR in mainstream gaming. Imagine something along the lines of Mario Kart Live, but for other Nintendo games and genres. Lots of Nintendo IP could work in VR. Nintendo already put VR modes into Mario Odyssey and BOTW and we see non FP games like Astrobot getting rave reviews too.
Mario Kart VR is actually available in some arcade centers, it's more an experiment I guess, but people who have tried it say it's awesome.

Other IP like a Pilotwings game in VR would be incredible. I think Nintendo could create a Mario VR game with different style mechanics that isn't neccessarily FP view too, again Astrobot does it.
