Forum sorting problem

When I view a forum category (Website Topics, Sales Discussion, etc) by default it's sorted by Views.  Up until today the default sort was by Last Post.  When I click the Last Post column to sort it that way, I get sent to the Hot Topics category.  So I have no way to view any forum category sorted by anything other than views. 

I didn't see anything in the account settings for a way to change the default sort.
