The Steam Deck has a modern APU with 15 watt TDP.
Total system power should be around 22 watt (APU + LCD + RAM + SSD) with unlocked fps and probably 12 - 22 watt with locked fps (depending on the game).
So it will use much less power than a gaming laptop and will therefore generate much less heat.
