Very easy to explain. Features are optional but desirable, desired but not at the value that they're being offered, a value much higher than others have set in the industry. Playstation does not exist in a vacuum and neither do people's expectations. When something does not meet people's expectations they complain, both as a vent but also in hope it moves the needle next time round. That's really it.
