I like the Games as a Service model. Keep giving me worthwhile content, and I'll keep paying you.

You know, for as much as I personally won't participate in this model and avoid GaaS experiences with all my being, I actually DO love that they exist because I feel it adds more variety and diversity to our medium. It's the same reason that, while I won't buy Microtransactions or sports games or F2P stuff, I love that they all exist. I genuinely do believe having more options is a GOOD thing. I don't mind if Star Wars Battlefront is a shitty Loot Box casino masquerading as a game...because I am so overwhelmed with other options I can avoid it and its ilk and still never catch up on my backlog.

For some people, that's what they like. You're a prime example. It's not for me, but hot damn I love that it exists as long as it doesn't take away from the things I like, which it does not! People like to act like it is, but it's not.

Like Brie Larson said, we're not converting your seats at our table, we're adding more seats to the table so that more people can participate. Nobody's mising out on anything, there are just more options for more people to enjoy!
