Maybe it's a game they didn't know about or didn't want to buy it, but see it on Game Pass so they give it a whirl and end up loving it. I really don't understand why this is a hard concept to understand. Not everyone has a huge backlog of games, or they end up not caring about finishing most games on their backlog so would rather focus on something else. I mean, there is a reason these games are in someone's backlog.
You say, "how does anyone have time.." It's not about having more time, but where someone focuses that time on. Instead of spending time on my backlog or whatever, I would rather spend it on Game Pass titles instead.
