It's still up in the air, but the first 8 months of the year are looking pretty solid in terms of games. Not great, but solid. Everything rests on whether they have a strong third trimester.

It'd be a bit of a disgrace if they didn't with so many of their studios due or overdue for a new release. (Monolith, Zelda team, Odyssey team, Mario Kart team)

Yeah, my hopes are pretty high right now. I'm basically content to sit and wait until E3. If we don't get at least 2 amazing new games previewed, I'll go back to my pessimism. Had Snap bombed with critics I would have brought this thread back with a vengeance.

Yeah I'm trying to remain optimistic also, as the announced/released lineup for the first 8 months of the year are better than I expected.

I feel pretty much the same about E3, if they have a decent show and reveal at least 2 new games for the second half of the year that look good enough to be worth buying, then I'll be pleased. On the other hand I'm trying not to get my hopes up in case it's a flop like their 2015 and 2018 shows.
