SO Legends is exactly what I've been demanding of the main series since the transition to Switch. Better late then never & it seems like Gamefreak is using it as a learning curve. I'm suspecting:
1. Much smaller pokedex.
2. Less content in general
And thats absolutely fine for me. Quality over quantity. I always shit on them but its clear that they're determined to catch up with peoples expectations here. Framerate aside it looks a very strong improvement over S/S. Hopefully this will be the future direction of the franchise once they get more accustomed to open world development.
