Definitely has potential, though it's still a bit of a mixed bag. Our classic rivals stand out as highlights. Casting generally seems decent, particularly Scorpion (though they need to reloop his catchphrase). Overall presentation looks pretty good, though the character design and cgi falter occasionally. I like that it seems to be an earnest martial arts flick with a liberal dose of vfx and an R rating. Tempered optimism is the general takeaway for me.
