Only company I trust to buy up is Microsoft because they will put it on Gamepass and continue to save me money while still allowing me to download the games for offline play. Amazon, Google, or anyone else requiring persistent online play and not having a subscription model for games can go away. I'm a 29 year old who doesn't have time to replay games over and over again (except Paper Mario series), so "owning" each game and spending more money that way than $10-15 a month is a silly waste of my money.
