I guess I mean relatively speaking. And specifically relative to what George Lucas did in the Prequel Trilogy.
Sure there's exposition. The characters give each other information, because they may be on a mission and this information is need to know. So the viewer gets the information too. But it's not stuff that is randomly spoken about to explain the world or lore. It's related to whatever actions they are doing at that moment, so it doesn't feel lazy (at least not to me).
