I absolutely love The Mandalorian there not a single episode in season 2 I did not enjoy and only episode 5 in season 1 did I take any real issue with. It was actually a hard choice between return of Jedi and The Mandalorian for me. The final 4 episodes of Clone wars tv probably had the most emotional impact on me since the original series but the series as a whole would not put it any where close to Mandalorian level. To this day I don't understand why so many people think Revenge of the Sith is a good movie. I actually rewatch it for the first time in many many years last year before I watch the final 4 episodes of clone wars and it was actually even worse then I remember it being. My memory was it not being good but the only watchable one of the prequel movies. After rewatching it, I rather be force to watch all 3 sequel movies again then have to rewatch that crap, it was soo painful making it to the end.
The truth is the original trilogy, Clone wars tv, Rebels(season 2 onward, season 1 was a bit rough and probably would not of made it to end of if it was not for friends I trust having similar taste of me promising it get better by season 2) and Mandalorian is the only canon star wars that I actually enjoyed enough I would bother watching again.
