With at least 1 big holiday title, Nintendo could have easily set records, or at a bare minimum maintained the momentum.
However their holiday lineup consisted of:
- Mario ports collection
- Zelda spinoff
- Mario Kart Toy bundled with an app
- Pikmin port
This translated to sales directly, not even one of them was able to sell a measly 500k. Too bad.
