I'm not downplaying anything I'm just giving facts.  I'm pretty sure the Switch is also the first console that sold over 70 million units without a price cut.

Well to be fair a portion of those 70 million is also from the "lite" version which is a dedicated handheld that comes in at 100 dollars cheaper. It may not be an official price drop on the main Switch but lumping the 2 together sales wise and claiming no price drop just skews the data. I am not trying to take away anything from Switch sales wise but your point is not entirely accurate.
