Well... the site is still unusable without an ad-blocker. 75% of the screen is covered by the unscrollable top banner advert for me. I can barely get the "Quick Reply" textbox to fit in the little gap, although the video advert on the bottom right has gone for the moment, so at least I this text isn't behind that as I type it.
Why not add a close button to the adverts so we can actually see something? It's stupidly slow as well, but that is less of an issue.
