You sure about that? I never had any issues with it. PS3? For sure. The PS3's store was trash, but the PS4's was speedy and zippy for me. Might have taken a couple seconds to boot, but after that, no problems. 

The PS4 store is currently too slow and unpredictable- As well as joining parties and opening friends profiles. It can take forever. There are obvious bottlenecks.

Looks like that will go under 'Media'. So you will probably press R1 to switch a separate page for all Media apps.
