It puzzles me that so many pick Metroid Prime for Gamecube yet ignore/forget its graphically superior sequel, Echoes.

Fair point, I think it's only really its resolution then that prevent Revelations from completely passing as a Vita title.

Good to see someone mention Rogue Squadron III; it gets overshadowed by its predecessor despite being technically better.

Conduit 1 & 2 on Wii also often get overlooked; it's easy to see why as they're neither particularly great games nor artistically memorable, but they're undeniably among the most advanced games ever to release on the system, with stuff like normal mapping, depth of field, projected texture lights, etc.

Pretty much, yeah. It pushes the 64 a little too hard in fact as the framerate is can get pretty choppy, but the amount of polygons, effects and overall detail it rams through the 64's struggling processor is beyond anything else that generation, on consoles at least.

No one has mentioned this one also...Hey you are not on a PS2, it is a N64.

Ah yes, another often overlooked title; criminal that it wasn't localized back when it first came out. And yeah, definitely one of the better looking N64 games graphically.

I'd add FAST Racing League, Monster Hunter Tri, and Silent Hill Shattered Memories, all on Wii, as other examples of graphically impressive titles rarely mentioned.
