Well, my dad's truck is almost the same as mine but it's a different color and has 4WD (heavier, so slightly worse MPG) among a few other features. My mom Drives an EXCURSION. It's a HUGE Gas hog. It used to get 12 city MPG and 15 Highway MPG but now (according to the little LCD readout) it gets 7 City MPG and 12 Highway MPG (because of it being old, and the mileage went down after we got it repaired)

So I take it your parents subscribe to the kill everyone else on the road so long as I stay safe method of driving? I don't care if people drive trucks, I just hope you drive it and be extra carefull of all the people you could injure very easily. I've run across too many people who drive carelessly just because they have a big truck (especially H2 drivers).
Anyways, cool ride and enjoy it while you can, cause that $100/month deal is a steal. 14/19 MPG would cost me ~$50/wk so I would be coming in at ~$230/month just to pay for Gas and Insurance. Then throw in Oil, Brakes, Tires, and other general maintenance and you'll realize how cheap that $100/month is.
