Obsidian is clearly doing things right. Mojang is still killing it as well. Lots are hyped for Ninja Theories Hellblade game (not my cup of tea). RARE was a disappointment early on with them, but are starting to make better games and updates now. Inexhiles Wasteland 3 is a phenomenal game (kind of blowing my mind lol). I haven't heard anything bad about the quality of Playground Games Forza games.
Overall I think the studios seem to be doing well so far being under MS. We won't fully know for a few years when games made in early stages at MS come to fruition, though. I think all the studios they purchased are in better shape than 343i.
