As long as Sony won't release their games on PC day one it's no surprise that PS consoles will sell more. But that does obviously not mean that Xbox will be smaller as a whole especially when people see the value of Gamepass increasing more and more.
But it does look as if MS should produce some more Series X instead of Series S consoles this year. Early adopters obviously prefer the best version of a console and they could have many more preorders (Sony as well obviously) with more Series X available.
