The biggest reason PS4 and SW are getting these boosts is not their software. Its COVID. The pandemic has already recorded giving gaming consoles and software sales a 100%+ boost. SW was incredibly lucky to have this come in a year with not much for the holiday and the PS4 lucky to have it on its end year.
Its also astonishing to see PS4 outsell the XB1 by 4:1 in the US. Imagine how bad it is elsewhere.
